For Hurricane Idalia, we assisted with the support of multiple staging sites that served as operational hubs for utility crews and equipment. These sites played a critical role in organizing storm response efforts, enabling efficient deployment, coordination, and sustained power restoration operations—and once deactivated, we fully restored each site to its pre-storm condition.
We supported this Florida cooperative following Hurricane Idalia in 2023 by clearing debris from over 4,100 miles of SVEC right-of-way. Our crews removed hazardous trees, limbs, broken poles, downed wires, and damaged transformers—restoring safe access and supporting the cooperative’s system-wide restoration efforts.
For a Florida utility responding to Hurricane Idalia, we mobilized 250 personnel, 70 trucks, and 27 specialty mulchers to perform large-scale debris removal.
