In the aftermath of Hurricanes Debby, Helene, and Milton, we provided extensive right-of-way clearing along the I-10 corridor. Our crews removed storm debris from shoulders and medians, restoring safe access and visibility for state crews and utility contractors working to rebuild infrastructure.
Under FDOT District 7, we executed multi-phase right-of-way debris removal following the combined impacts of Hurricanes Debby, Helene, and Milton. Our teams cleared storm-damaged vegetation and debris from major roads and thoroughfares, keeping recovery crews and utility workers moving safely through the region.
Dixie County sustained heavy damage from multiple storms, and we played a key role in clearing storm debris from county road rights-of-way. Our long-term efforts restored safe passage, supported ongoing utility work, and helped accelerate the region’s overall recovery process.
After the storms, we partnered with Peace River Electric Cooperative to support their recovery efforts through extensive debris cleanup and utility corridor clearing. Our crews removed fallen trees, vegetation, and storm-damaged materials from powerline rights-of-way, helping restore safe access for line crews and expediting power restoration across their service area.
Following Hurricane Milton, we mobilized 600 personnel and 200 trucks to assist utility companies with large-scale debris removal and site access restoration. By clearing roadways and utility rights-of-way, we helped accelerate the rebuild of essential power infrastructure across the affected areas.
As recovery efforts advanced following Hurricane Helene, we supported Georgia Power with the removal and disposal of damaged infrastructure, including poles, wire, and transformers. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, we mobilized 500 personnel and 175 trucks to deliver a critical storm response, clearing fallen trees and debris obstructing utility corridors. Our efforts enabled utility crews to safely access and rebuild damaged transmission and distribution systems without delay.
We mobilized over 300 personnel and 100 trucks in advance of Hurricane Debby to ensure a rapid post-storm response. As soon as conditions allowed, our crews began clearing debris from access routes to support the safe and efficient restoration of utility infrastructure.
